Das O.K. Magazin geht in die nächste Runde. Nach der erfolgreichen Veröffentlichung der ersten Ausgabe mit dem Titel Periodicals, folgt nun die nächste Ausgabe zum Thema Failure. Bis zum 29. September kann man noch Beiträge einreichen!
Die O.K. Redaktion schreibt dazu:
Dear all,
O.K. Collections, the first issue of O.K. Periodicals, is a great succes. Magazines were sent all around the world to countries like The Netherlands (ofcourse), Germany, England, America, Austria, France, Finland, Italy, Sweden, Belgium, Japan, and more. And we're still selling! So if you want to buy one or more (extra) be quick before they are gone.
But we shouldn't forget that the the next issue is in stores in about 4 months!! Yes, the second issue of the O.K. Periodicals is coming up and has a brand new theme: FAILURE
Next to a wide selection of top 'visual and theoretical' creatives we love to invite everyone else to contribute to the magazine. Either in a visual way or in words, music, video, theatre… anything!
We think that everyone once in a while (or some more often) has to deal with failure, chance, unforeseen events, and unexpected results of experiments gone wrong.
For example, we (Joost, William and Bouwe) give failure a place in our work. We use things that go wrong to take our design to a higher level. And more people tend to do the same.
So with this issue we want to give everyone a stage to show their failures and give chance a chance :)
Everyone is invited to submit suggestions, work and/or proposals. As soon as the submission date, monday September 29th, has past we will make a selection of all the things we have received. Please email us to participate or ask for more information.
So did you: -fail to climb the Kilimanjaro? Send us a portret of what you looked like at that moment. -make a perfect design which has never been approved? Show it to us and/or tell us your story. -lose the man/woman of you dreams? Share your love poetry with us. -make great images with computererrors/glitches? Send them to us as quick as you can. Or do you: -know someone that failed fabulously in growing a bonsay tree? Shoot that picture. -... So if you want to be in an international selling magazine, submit! Join! Mail! Don't be shy and fail!

Ziemlich ähnlich ist das Thema meiner Abschlussarbeit.
Da muss ich wohl eher fertig werden. ( :
Anregungen aus dem Reich der Fehlerwelten (insbesondere von Maschinen produzierte Fehler) können also auch an mich gesendet werden! Danke!
Ich bin gespannt auf das Heft. Das Thema ist schonmal sehr interessant.

Das ist aber auch total der Hammer, wenn man sich die Fehler da mal anschaut... Alter Schwede, ich mein da sterben Menschen dran.. und das nicht zu knapp.
Und sowas passier auch in Deutschland, bedenkt man z.B. das eingestürzte dach dieser.. was wars noch.. Eissporthalle?

ich hab schon einige hochschulprojekte gesehen, die sich mit dem thema fehler beschäftigen.. scheint ein faszinierendes thema zu sein... gibt ja auch viel her, vom freudschen versprecher bis zur chaostheorie is wohl alles drin..
