Lifelounge has invited 12 of of their favourite artists and designers from around the globe to join them in a typographic project called Some Type Of Wonderful. Here each artist has been asked to respond typographically to a design brief related to a designated month of the year.

With backgrounds in everything – from traditional fine art, graffiti, graphic design, illustration and typography the artists include:

Merijn Hos (The Netherlands)
Jesse Hora (USA)
Si Scott (England)
Hellovon (England)
Merda (Australia)
Timba Smits (Australia)
Puzle (Australia)
Justin Lee Williams (New Zealand)
Niels Shoe Meulman (TheNetherlands)
Steve ESPO Powers (USA)
Luke Lucas (Australia).

Each of the unique designs will be offered through lifelounge.com as signed, limited edition A1 Giclee prints and combined altogether in a beautifully designed, limited edition 2009 A3 wall calendar to enjoy for the following year.

Some Type Of Wonderful will also be holding an exhibition of the works at Melbourne's McCulloch Gallery with a launch party on Thursday October 23.
