Typodarium 2011 / Call for entries

Es ist wieder soweit: nach dem Erfolg von Typodarium 2009 und 2010 sind alle Type-Designer ab sofort wieder eingeladen, ihr persönliches Kalenderblatt mit ihrer Schrift für das Typodarium 2011 zu gestalten. Bis zum 1. April 2010 können die Arbeiten eingereicht werden.

Registriert Euch einfach auf www.typodarium.de und reserviert Euch Euren persönlichen Tag (dieses Jahr können bis zu 7 Tage ausgewählt werden). Wer am schnellsten seine Tage reserviert, hat die größte Auswahl, die Teilnahme ist kostenlos! Typodarium 2011 wird in Design- und Museumsläden sowie in ausgewählten Buchläden auf der ganzen Welt erhältlich sein.

The editors Lars Harmsen and Raban Ruddigkeit would like to invite all designers, type-nerds and font-lovers to contribute to the Typodarium 2011, the daily dose of typography, which is a tear-off calendar like the one our grandmas used to hang in the kitchen.

Like they did in the first (2009) and second (2010) Typodarium, each font will be prominently displayed on the front calender sheet. On the back there will be a detailed description of how the font originated, from whom and from what the inspiration came as well as where it can be obtained.You have the opportunity to book a maximum of seven favorite days in advance. The sooner you do so, the more choice you’ll have. Typodarium 2011 is distributed in design and museum shops and selected bookstores around the world.
