Vom 29. Feburar bis 4. März findet in Südafrika die Indaba Design Konferenz statt. Bereits seit 1995 lädt die Design Indaba Konferenz Top-Kreative aus der ganzen Welt ein, um Fachleute aus kreativen, unternehmerischen und Bildungsbereichen gleichermaßen anzusprechen. Werbung, Film, Musik, Mode, Industrial Design, Architektur, Kunsthandwerk, Bildende Kunst, Neue Medien, Verlagswesen, Rundfunk und darstellende Kunst stellen dabei das weit gefasste Themenfeld dar.
Nach der Konferenz findet außerdem die Design Indaba Expo statt, die das Beste der südafrikanischen Kreativität präsentieren wird (2. bis 4. März). Ein paar Impressionen der letzten Konferenz gibt es hier.
DESIGN INDABA CONFERENCE

SIMULCAST
The Young Designers Simulcast in Cape Town is a live broadcast from the main plenary session to a second auditorium. Students and designers under the age of 25 get discounted access. When the main conference sells out, YDS open to delegates over the age of 25.
Last year the simulcast was also broadcast at the University of Johannesburg’s Arts Centre for the first time. This was an opportunity for our friends in Jozi to experience the creative inspiration and world-class speakers at Design Indaba Conference.
In 2012, the simulcast will also be broadcast to a venue in Durban. Watch this space for more information.
