Vom 04. Juni bis 03. Oktober dieses Jahres findet an der Universität von Amsterdam die Ausstellung “Irma Boom: Biography in Books” statt. Hierzu gibt es eine tolle Publikation, die die Arbeit von Irma Boom aus den Jahren 1985–2010 im Miniformat präsentiert.
Insgesamt hat der Katalog, der nur 3,8 x 5 cm groß ist, 704 Seiten und enthält 450 Bilder, die von Mathieu Lommen, Kurator der graphischen Sammlung an der Universität Amsterdam, kommentiert wurden.
Sicherlich ist der kleine Katalog unhandlich, hat aber Charme und zeigt auch, dass nicht alle Publikationen zwangsläufig im Überformat produziert werden müssen.
