Akademische Mitteilungen #24
Homeland is an ambivalent word. For some it is a synonym for security, identity, self-evidence and is able to give them orientation. The others see in it a kind of code name for nationalistic and racist attitudes, while in their love for their homeland they discover hatred for the foreign.
In the AM 24 we ask questions exactly. To whom does the homeland belong? How does it feel, smell and taste? Or is it in the end non-existent and only a construct in our heads? What is home for you?
