55th D&AD Professional Awards – Call for Entries

Für die D&AD Professional Awards 2017 werden bis zum 1. März 2017 Einreichungen akzeptiert, wer jedoch bis zum 15. Februar 2017 sein Projekt einreicht, spart den 20% Preiszuschlag, der nach dem diesem Datum fällig ist. Detaillierte Informationen sind hier zu finden.

The D&AD Professional Awards 2017 are open for entries. Winning a Pencil is often the highlight of a creative career, so D&AD wanted to take a look at the people behind the campaigns and find out what it really means to those who win. All done through the eyes of those that know them best – their mums. So they sent a film crew around the world to capture the stories only a mother could tell.

Since 1962, D&AD has been inspiring a community of creative thinkers by celebrating and stimulating the finest in design and advertising. A D&AD Award is recognized globally as the ultimate creative accolade, entered and attended by the best creative decision makers from around the world. Set to reward, promote and enable creative brilliance in all areas of creative communication, a Yellow – or Black – Pencil remains the pinnacle in many careers.

But it’s much more than just the Awards. Members join a vibrant global community, whilst Creatives and clients are inspired by a world-class training and development program. Students are supported with projects, awards and exhibitions, which give them a vital leg-up as they enter the industry. As a non-profit, all of D&AD’s surpluses go straight into programs that develop the next generation of creative talent while campaigning for the creative industries to help solve the world’s toughest social and environmental issues.

Entry information:
Work entered into the D&AD Professional Awards 2017 must have been commercially released between January 1st, 2016 and March 18th, 2017 and produced in genuine response to a client brief. It must not have been entered in previous years. Submissions should be made in their original language by February 15th, 2017The Awards cost from just £85 to enter this year. Freelancers and sole traders that are members of D&AD are eligible to receive a 20% discount. Entries received after February 15th, 2017 will incur a 20% surcharge.

First dealine: February 15th, 2017
Extended deadline: March 1st, 2017

All awarded work is announced during the D&AD Festival 2017 on 25–27 April and appears in the D&AD Annual released annually in the Autumn, sold exclusively through D&AD. For the second year D&AD will be working with Lucky Generals on the creative campaign for the D&AD Professional Awards.
