Fight for Kindness 2026 Campaign

Author: Emma Waldraff

What can typography do beyond communicating words? Fight for Kindness 2026 explores how letters and visual messages can create connection, encourage empathy, and contribute to positive change. Initiated by TypeCampus and supported by Zetafonts Foundry, the project brings together designers from around the world who share one idea: using creativity to help shape a kinder and more inclusive society.

Now in its fifth edition, Fight for Kindness has grown into a global creative movement. In 2026, more than 1,000 typographic messages from 83 countries and in 42 languages came together, reflecting a remarkable variety of cultures, perspectives, and visual traditions.

Through typography and visual design, the selected works explore kindness in its many forms—toward the planet, humanity, others, and ourselves. Letters become more than carriers of information: they can question, connect, persuade, and open up conversations about the world we want to live in.

“A thousand posters is already an impressive number, but what truly is impressing is imagining the journey behind each of them: hundreds of designers from every corner of the world who felt the desire to add their own voice to this collective message,” says Debora Manetti, founder of the campaign, Program Director of TypeCampus, and co-founder of Zetafonts.

This year’s edition is further enriched by contributions from Alan Kitching, Stephen Price / Stash, Stuart Watson / Nomad Studio, Stefano Cipolla / Emiliano Ponzi, An Chen, Armando Milani, Rik Oostenbroek, Emmi Solomen, Marina Willer, Silvana Amato, and Dan Matutina. Returning contributors Kinda Ghannoum, Ibrahim Zaki, and Hala Al Afsaa continue the conversation from previous editions.

Together, these voices bring different generations, cultures, and creative disciplines into one shared visual conversation, showing how kindness can become a common language through design.

The selected posters can now be explored in the Fight for Kindness 2026 Online Gallery. They will also be featured in the project’s next annual book, scheduled for release in early 2027, and presented through a growing network of international exhibitions leading up to World Kindness Day on November 13th.

More than a collection of posters, Fight for Kindness 2026 is a global conversation about the role of creativity in society. It shows how designers across cultures and continents can use their skills to connect people, challenge perspectives, and imagine a more empathetic future.

Fight for Kindness is a nonprofit campaign promoting kindness through typography. Launched in 2022 for World Kindness Day, the initiative is organized by TypeCampus and sponsored by Zetafonts Foundry.
