Inspired by my experience with working out, in this project I decided to translate the structure of muscle tissue into typography. The web of muscle fibers bundled together is able to exert immense force while also forming an interesting visual pattern. In these experiments, I reflected this pattern by warping type into a similar rhythm of parallel, organic lines. The specific shapes and intricacies of the letters create a level of detail not unlike the tissue the work draws from.
