The Eight Ball

Author: slanted-api

In billiards, the eight ball is the one that ends the game. It cannot be rushed and it cannot be skipped: it waits until every easier shot is gone, then asks for a clean angle under full pressure. The poster reads that last ball as an image of any practice built on precision — the risk of the decisive move, the composure it demands, and the pull to rack them up and play again. Design works the same way: a break, a run of collisions, and one final pocket.
