2019 SEOUL MARATHON

Seoul Marathon 2019 reimagines the visual language of a historic Korean marathon through a minimal graphic system. Moving away from familiar photographic expressions of speed and impact, the identity begins with a single line—the simplest element that can represent a running route. The line grows into roads, landmarks, and cities, forming a consistent visual language across Seoul, Gongju, and Gyeongju and uniting the three races as one running journey.
