ancient forms, new game

GER BBALL / HELLAS was created for the German team competing at the basketball world championship 2026 in Corinth, Greece.
At its centre is TT Ricordi Allegria by TypeType, inspired by historical stone inscriptions. Transferred into basketball, teamwear and contemporary graphic culture, ancient forms take on a new character—connecting place, history and sport through type.
Ancient forms. Contemporary team identity. A typeface travelling from stone to court.
