Various Artists Football Club

VA FC is a Shanghai-based amateur football team whose members are mostly from artistic fields. Open to all genders, the team values camaraderie over intense competition, symbolized by its hermaphroditic snail logo. The designer organized participatory workshops with members and developed custom typefaces, posters, banners and snail variations. These visuals accompany the team’s football-themed gatherings, merging sport and free creative expression among Shanghai’s young artists.
