Hahnenkamm Races

These posters were created for the various editions of the competition dedicated to the official poster of the Hahnenkamm Races, the famous Streif downhill race in Kitzbühel, Austria.
The artwork often features the outline of a "cockscomb": in German, "Hahnenkamm" has precisely this meaning. The name derives from the shape of the Austrian mountain ridge, which visually resembles the characteristic fleshy growth on a rooster's head.
