The design of this poster is directly inspired by the origin of the race itself, which owes its name to the Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad. To capture this heritage, the typography mimics a raw "cut-and-paste" aesthetic, reminiscent of dynamic newspaper clippings slapped together in a chaotic yet deliberate collage. Bold, distorted letterforms and gritty textures reflect the raw intensity, grit, and cycling culture of the Flemish Cobbled Classics.
