On September 28th, the opening of the exhibition 60 Years of Forte, which honors the typeface of the same name, took place in Vienna. Forte, this living typeface, has been used, abused, and often overused for over six decades, since it was published by The Monotype Corporation in 1962. Its designer, Karl Reißberger, has been little known until now.
