BBC Cricket Visual Identity

BBC Cricket briefed us to engage the next generation of sports fans without alienating their existing audience. Inspired by cricket’s iconic scoring system, we created an ASCII-style typographic language that became the building blocks for motion and 3D. Combined with a vibrant RGB colour palette and our hero font, Mono Spec, the result was a bold, energetic design system rooted in the traditions of the game, but built to capture the attention of a new generation.
