An improvised experiment on how negative space can shape a letterform. The letterforms were shaped by creating negative space around them, without sketching or outlining their shapes. Created during 36DOT.
The main religion of Ukrainians is Freedom. The hands on a collage from the original painting “Katherina” by Taras Shevchenko. In the poem, Kateryna was deceived and abandoned by a Russian. Many Ukrainians felt the same way at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

Since Russia invaded Ukraine, it feels like the walls of every other underpass are closing in on any Ukrainian, screaming their ugly stuff at them, while they are taking it too personally.

Every shard of war finds its way into the soul, leaving an incurable scar. Pain for every city and settlement, for innocent ordinary people ruthlessly taken in the midst of day or night. Simply because they are Ukrainians.

It should have been a happy Children’s Day, however due to having russia as a neighbor, we got this day another one rocket attack committed by russians. This illustration was created after it happened.
“Dance” interprets the theme of the “dance of death.” It reflects my emotions and experiences, part of a personal series akin to diaries. It captures the sense of everything converging – war, love, death, life, beauty, mountains, betrayal, the Carpathian mountains. It’s a dance of my inner feelings and emotions.

We can’t live our life’s like there is no war but also we can’t pretend like there is no life at the very same time.

This simple picture depicts the big moment of the long-awaited meeting of two people. In this unstable world where anything can happen we all go through changes. And our feelings become our support. This illustration is dedicated to the main character of the work “Forest Song” by Lesya Ukrainka. Mavka is a character from Ukrainian mythology. This is what the spirits of dead unbaptized children were previously called. This is the spirit that was the guardian of the forest.
“Brave little Chestnut” is illustrated picture/comic book for children. The main aim of this project is to help little readers to learn courage and to face treir fears along side the book’s main protagonist. Our future hero can’t overcome his fears, which worry him, but during his adventure he begins to understand his fears better. Fear is a normal reaction of our bodies. He learns how to stand up for himself and others despite the fear and obstacles on his way.
