Sequence

Things in sequence, or regular order, are arranged sequentially. Most novels and films move sequentially, but some use techniques such as flashbacks that interrupt the movement forward in time. This work is about this break in time, when you catch a moment of happiness no matter what.

Save Ukrainian children

This poster is dedicated to the protection of Ukrainian children. Children of Ukraine have experienced violence, trauma, loss, destruction and forced displacement since the beginning of the war in February 2022. Millions of children were robbed of their birthday celebrations, school memories, and time with friends and family. They lost their homes, schools and playgrounds.

Poster design for Kyiv-based ensemble UKHO

These posters represent the Kyiv-based ensemble UKHO, known for their specialization in contemporary academic music. I worked on developing UKHO’s visual identity through poster design from 2017 to 2020. My primary objective was to leave a lasting and artistic impression of the ensemble. This specific set of posters from the 2018-2019 season captures the ensemble’s distinctive expressiveness and niche in the music world.

UPHA Made in Ukraine

UPHA Made in Ukraine, the first book by BOOKSHA, is the result of creative efforts by Ukrainian Photographic Alternative group members. The project features 57 photographers and 82 art projects which document significant social, political, cultural, and historical changes in Ukraine and globally. BOOKSHA aimed to explore, present, and archive Ukrainian photographic heritage. The book has two parts: textual and visual, designed for simultaneous engagement and reader comfort.

Ukraine 2

I created this poster inspired by Ukrainian avant-garde art. The pattern composed with the shapes and elements from fragments of paintings different avant-garde artists such as K. Malevich, G. Narbut, V. Ermilov, B. Kosarev. I think that this area of art has a great interest, both in Ukraine and abroad.

Ukraine

This concept design is based on traditional Ukrainian ornament, its ethnic peculiarity. The inspiration for me was the research of the prominent Ukrainian artist M. Samokish (1860-1944), who created the publishing project “Motifs of the Ukrainian ornament”. The artist traveled to Ukraine and copied various elements of national ornaments, which were then included in the book. In this pattern I’ve mixed elements of traditional ornaments with modernist graphics.

Synesthetic Tesseract: Embarking into the (Un)known

Imagine if this artwork captured the very essence of complexity, volatility, and uncertainty encapsulated in the AI-Human loop’s curational process. How might this realm manifest? What emotions would it evoke? The image’s ambiance seeks to convey the sensation of a deluge of variations, generously conjured by AI, with individuals striving to navigate these elevated dimensions in pursuit of meaningful outcomes.

scream from inside

In this piece, the author poured out her own pain, weariness, and the cries of her soul. It delves into that feeling when you’re utterly powerless, when emotions engulf you to the point where all you can do is scream. Sometimes, the only way to let out that scream is through the canvas of paper, using narrative, colors, and forms.

Destructive Entities

Destructive Entities is a compositional case study of the chaotic nature of disastrous formations, the byproduct russian invasion of Ukraine, in the pursuit of compositional inspirations and geometrical syntaxes chasing the new notion of vernacular context-based architecture.

The work reflects and questions the state of the ruins in the aftermath of the war, with more and more architectures transitioning into ashes daily the inevitable question is posed – what is the future of ruins?

Peaceful Night

The author started to draw mooses at Christmas postcards for friends and family because she loved the holiday. But with time the moose became a humanised image and the author created a whole #moosemaniacart universe. Unfortunately this is one of the last happy universe drawings before the Russian invasion of Ukraine. After February 2022 the author experiences deep emotional crisis.

ВОЛЯ (VOLIA)

When you look at this poster, you are a free bird that flies over a free Ukraine. You can see steppes, mountains, and rivers. You can fly very high or go down and almost touch the ground. You can speed up so the image below will blur or slow down and hover above the ground, examining all the tiny details.

This poster is a flight of your imagination that can last as long as you want.

VOLIA is a fusion of the English words “strength,” “intention,” “will,” and and “freedom.”

Stop russian agression

On 24 February 2022, Russia invaded and occupied parts of Ukraine in a major escalation of the Russo-Ukrainian War, which had begun in 2014. The invasion has resulted in tens of thousands of deaths on both sides, and instigated Europe’s largest refugee crisis since World War II.
This poster is dedicated to the courage of the Ukrainian people, who defend their freedom and independence.

SEBTO.Media: Rebranding

SEBTO is a modern Ukrainian media about dignity and equality.

The very name of the media (sebto means that is) encrypts its purpose: to explain. Not to surprise, shock or impress. Firstly, SEBTO is about interpreting information.

We have created a clean, somewhat strict, concise and at the same time expressive identity for SEBTO. For convenient use of our identity in the future, we did not set a specific style of visual content use. We relied on a clear grid, and recognizable typography only

“T.R.I.O”

“T.R.I.O” has a long history of creation and is a result of numerous experiments combining abstract art with portrait painting.
It’s associated with the flow state. It means an absolute harmony, lack of anxiety and complete confidence in the truth of the direction of my creativity.
Also, the name of my art refers to the trinity of God: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, their connection with each other and absolute harmony in relationships.

Design of the block of stamps Kharkiv hero city

The stamps are dedicated to awarding Kharkiv the title of hero city. There are 9 stamps in the stamp block. Each stamp depicts a landmark of Kharkiv. Elements of folk ornament are present in the composition. The color scheme is made in the colors of the flag – blue, yellow-red, black. The black color symbolizes the Ukrainian land, and the red symbolizes the blood of the fighters, spilled on it in the struggle for the freedom and independence of Ukraine.

Debris of urban textures

I began capturing the elements of Ukrainian urban environments, such as street textures, old graffiti, asphalt and house joints, bizarre advertisements, architecture, mosaics, stained windows, and more about four years ago.
With Russian shells wreaking havoc on our cities, it has become vital to document as many fragments of our urban identity as I can to memorize them. I categorized the collected material into four distinct collections, each dedicated to a city of personal significance.
