“Stone Women” Project
“They still stand on the same place proudly, calmly and straight, in humble expectation of peace and justice. Maybe, that is why they are petrified.”
The collection reveals the vulnerability of cultural heritage and memory and shows the absurdity of our current state as humanity.
The diptych “Transmission”
The paintings are about memory, or rather its transition from one generation to another, about continuity and preservation instead of destruction.
The poster “Support Kharkiv, buy a book” was created in the second month of war. It hung in bookshops in Rivne, the artist’s hometown, where tons of books were transported from Kharkiv, mercilessly shelled by Russia. The poster shows Inzhyr The Cat and the symbol of Kharkiv – Derzhprom, а masterpiece of constructivist architecture, the first Ukrainian skyscraper, built in the 1920s. At the poster, it is made of books, because the biggest Ukrainian publishing houses are located in Kharkiv.
The artwork is devoted to the study of the influence of women, their activities and contribution to the formation of Ukrainian culture. She aims to draw attention to the importance of studying and recognizing the role of women, which is often underestimated or forgotten. The artist admires Olga Kobylyanska, Lesya Ukrainka, Sofia Yablonska, Natalia Kobrynska
Ukrainian embroidered shirt is a genetic code and a symbol of the will of the Ukrainian people.
This picture contains elements of embroidered shirt patterns from all regions of Ukraine.
Vyshyvanka, like a dome in military uniform, protects the Ukrainian people.
The painting was created from the painting “Warrior Security Code”(oil on canvas.Gostomel.2021) + photo of embroidery patterns.
It’s all put into digital.
Unborn Ukrainians Series (2019 till now)
Series of portraits of presumably unborn Ukrainians due to crimes of Soviet era such as the Holodomor, Stalin’s repressions, deportation, accompanied with poetic text, presented in the literature project “About everything on one page/Pro vse na odnu storinku”. The project is going on with regard to Russian bloody war and genocide against Ukraine.

Ukrainian Nativity Scene (Wertep/Vertep) is based on Ukrainian nativity tradition which is still preserved in some Ukrainian villages. A puppet or costume theater along with caroling is used to immerse into special Christmas atmosphere by dressing up as main religious characters and evil powers, although this tradition dates back to Pagan times.
Evil demons do not sleep, they are hiding behind angelic characters. Their faces are covered by masks of goats wearing goat skins.
My works are a reflection of different emotional states through personification and metaphors. The paintings depict animals that are partly totemic for me, accompanying both joyful and unpleasant moments of life.

Stepping into their studio, we immersed ourselves in a dialogue about their collaborative approach to work and design.
NXS World is a collaborative research project born from the urge to trace the ever-evolving essence of the Self in the digital age. A manifold network of contributors—each responding to a preceding submission—digests large concepts of digital culture into tangible bits via written word or visual artworks, all coming together in an annual publication.

The artwork was created during the 2023 after the one year of big war in Ukraine. This glass structure transform the feels of author through the one of the hardest period in life, to be migrant and stay the artist abroad, to say a voice and to be still alive after the horror russian crimes.
Search for the form and current of the modern through the mythology of the old world and sculptures of antiquity
In my project “At the origins” I establish a dreamlike depiction of my native village, examining concepts of home and belonging in the process. The work presented an opportunity to portray the meaning of homeland as a peculiar microcosm of a human being; a homeland as a place in consciousness rather than a physical territory.
Dependence on social opinion, on trends and fashion, on novelties in cosmetology, music, clothing, style.
All these topics are very acute for the author, because they cause internal protest.
She studies this topic, interview women on the topic of beauty and social networks. How much they have affected their lives. Opinions are completely different.

I have pain because of this war and my own losses. Losses on which I reflect and try to understand how to continue living. I’m trying to figure out what will help me be strong now.
To have harmony within. I have been working with Barbie since 2020. However, I have now focused on portraits of dolls in landscapes. After all, nature is life, which moves in a circle from birth to death and vice versa.
The artwork is a digital collage of photo fragments of Astian Rey’s physical sculpture from shell casings and exists as an NFT.
While creating the work, Astian decided to draw an analogy with the Guardian Angel, who is embodied in the form of a weapon with which brave fighters defend Ukraine.
The rising sun symbolizes the new peaceful life that will come after victory.

Meet “Together”, an experimental display font where each letter is connected, representing unity. It includes Latin, Cyrillic, and symbols for a versatile communication experience.
Artworks from the «SACRED SYMBOLS» series are created based on the author’s traditional sculptures and exist in NFT format. Astian Rey experiments with the method of digital collage and the construction of symmetry, using various fragments of sculptures taken from his own photographic archive.
During these experiments, unpredictable and spontaneous symbols are born, referring us to medieval sacred art.

A personal project.
The tiger is a symbol of 2022, and also a symbol of the resilience and strength of the Ukrainian people. A spark of invincibility and strength flickers in its eyes.
The concept of clothes is to combine sacred symbols and stylistics of medieval manuscripts with brutal work clothes for electric welding and metal turning. This combination reflects author’s view on religious contradictions and the search for mental balance, which a person strives to achieve, despite a rather difficult life experience.
Refugees from war are people fleeing from death. They are uprooted from their native land. They are forced to fly to save their lives and their children. To preserve your roots and wings is to preserve your past and future.
