The poster tells about the imposter syndrome and helps to attract attention to the design community members’ emotional well-being, which helps start a conversation and find solutions.

The King or Zero? It all depends on one’s point of view. The amount of doubts often evaluates the design and professional achievements. Thus the designer questions themselves frequently.

The typographic poster is dedicated to the beloved city of Kyiv.

The poster depicts an embroidered tree of life, a sacred and the most recognizable symbol of Ukrainian folk crafts. The blooming tree should symbolize eternal life, family continuity, and connection between the past, the present, and the future. But, instead, the tree is cut down and damaged.

Poster idea is inspired by Ukrainian Avant-Garde art that was born in the same period of time – about 100 years ago. Folk art influence that is typical of this style helps to reflect repertoire of the band – traditional and patriotic songs of Ukraine. The main element of the design is bandura (musical instrument) with a sound hole in the shape of “play” button as an allusion to an integration of folk and contemporary music.

Word “mriya” means “dream” in ukrainian. The plane Antonov An-225, the pearl of ukrainian aviation,largest world aircraft was also named Mriya. It had been destroyed by russian forces 27 february 2022, on the third day of full-scale russian invasion.
There’s a bitter parallel in the fact that dreams and plans of millions ukrainian people and “Dream” plane, which was the pride of ukrainians had been crushed at the same time.
But the darkness will end – and Mriya will fly again.

Additionally, in 2014, Kyiv was honored with an official anthem – the song “How can I not love you, Kyiv, my life!” written in 1962 by Dmytro Lutsenko and Ihor Shamo.

This is a poster about the Ukrainian writer Marko Vovchok. It was created for the “Known” exhibition, dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the women’s movement in Ukraine. Marko Vovchok is the pseudonym of Maria Vilinska. She was the only female writer in Ukrainian literature at the end of the 1850s and one of the first in Ukraine to speak about women’s rights. The writer conquered Jules Verne, and Taras Shevchenko called her his “heiress”.

Ukraine is waiting for F16 planes to protect our borders. Airplanes, like iron birds, are able to save our country. The poster is a reminder that you can’t procrastinate.

Even in pitch darkness, in times of anxiety when we are hiding from the bombs flying at us from the sky, let everyone see his ray of light. At such moments, we remember everything for which we have to fight for our bright life. We think about those with whom we want to share thousands more happy days, about those who cannot do without us, about how many good things we want to do, how much we want to know and see. And then some inner strength appears in us. And the desire to survive without fail.

There is a war in our country. We are being brutally killed. But we believe that we will endure. We know who we Ukrainians are, and that our character, resilience, and faith will certainly lead us to victory. The poster shows a bullet-riddled wall, but the blue sky is visible through the bullet holes, as a symbol of hope and peace. And on the wall between the traces of gunshots, a floral ornament grows as a symbol that our Ukraine will blossom in spite of everything!

The poster shows a heart made of small pieces of glass glued together. Encrypted in the shape of a heart is the word Pain. The work symbolizes the strength and power of our hearts, which have to endure the trials of war, but at the same time it shows their fragility and vulnerability. There is often a pain hidden inside our heart that no one notices on the outside.

Tall poppy syndrome is a term that refers to successful people being criticised. This occurs when their peers believe they are too successful, or are bragging about their success. Intense scrutiny and criticism of such a person is termed as “Cutting down the tall poppy”.

The main topic of this Forbes Ukraine issue is Next 250: A guide of Ukrainian entrepreneurship – the first list of promising small and medium-sized businesses. What can best describe the new Next 250 list is a painting by Ukrainian artist Oleksiy Sai, who works in the technique of Exсel-Art. He creates paintings using the program that calculates money – Microsoft Excel. Oleksiy Sai is well known for his unique invention – Excel-Art practice creating his artwork using this techniq since 2004.

In my country, air raid alarms sound every day in various regions, and I’ve noticed that the impact of this map is so profound, it’s as if I feel it in my very body and health. This artwork explores the resilience of people living under such conditions.

All series of illustrations appeared in connection with the war in Ukraine, but the main idea is to show Ukrainian people and tell their story. Writers of Ukraine which were killed by russia, to people which brought vast amount of Ukrainian culture. Brave children which who’s life’s were totally changed because of war inflicted injuries. Brave Taira which went through russian a prison but still strong and invincible. And a portrait of old lady which went through such a lot of pain and suffer.

The Ukrainian female artists project is a rethinking of a personal life path. To answer the question “Why do I do what I do?” Somewhere in Facebook, I saw a photo collage about Maria Prymachenko and decided to try drawing an illustration in my own style. And I got so excited of result that created 26 portraits in one breath in almost a couple of months. Maybe in the future it will be possible to publish a calendar or an anti-stress coloring book. Each portrait was a study and real adventure.

The poster depicts a person at the center, but they feel minuscule – consumed by toxic emotions. Hands reach out from the sides with serpents, seeking to grasp and overcome them. Glowing particles near the person symbolize their struggle against these hands, weakened but not defeated. It has been a year since I had to move out of my home, the last memory of the landscape out of my window is still in my mind, yet fading slowly. It was October, the golden month. And I decided to revisit this memory of mine to give it another life. Жовтень – October, my favorite month of the year. This memory is forever embedded in the pixels of this poster now.
