This is a RIZO printing experiment done in a workshop by RIZOMASR STUDIO. It serves as a tribute to the resilience of those in Gaza Strip, who, despite enduring immense loss, continue to inspire us with their strength, patience, and resistance. Eid Card
In Islam, we only have two major holidays which we celebrate. Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha. For both those holidays, we are encouraged to go all out with our celebrations, wear our best clothes, give out money, eat the best food, and gather families and friends to celebrate. Starting the day with the Eid prayer that is followed in Egypt by giving out a “Eideya” which is a small amount of money given to children of the family or even children on the streets.
Trying again (again)
Hibrayer is a month long challenge that happens on instagram and provides a list of 28 arabic words to turn into lettering pieces and share online during the month of February.

Some look done and polished, and some look like half-cooked ideas.

Change
The society to which we belong seems to be dying or mental-health difficulties. I don’t mean to sound dramatic, but clearly the dark side is rising. Things could not have been more odd and frightening in the world of visible and invisible pains, mental-health difficulties, violence, abused, Social Media and Google replaces our Brain. But the tradition of artists will continue no matter what form the society takes. And this a reason I created this artworks, I as sign of creative.
