The work is in red and gray tones. The color scheme refers to the negativity of the action indicated in the title of the work. The person seems to see the problems that need to be solved, but chooses to ignore them and turns a blind eye.

The visuals for the track “It’s Time” reflect a sense of anger and loss, inspired by the significant events after February 24th. They illustrate the disintegration of cherished values and dreams, symbolized by an apple deteriorating, representing life and integrity. It’s a portrayal of uncontrollable entropy and the loss of a once-familiar world.

This is an updated text version of Yevgen Sadko’s speech at ATypI Paris 2023. A look at Ukrainian society as two groups: font users and font designers. Description of changes in attitude to fonts of these groups in four periods: 1991-2005 (post-Soviet time), 2005-2014 (awareness of independence), 2014-2022 (hybrid war), 2022-2023 (full-scale war).

The letter is very symbolic for Ukrainians because there is no such letter in the alphabets of other languages. Modern Ukrainians mark various things with it – from clothes to street objects – in this way they outline their identity and nationality

Experimental multilingual display font with variable stroke thickness

Gart Mono is a monospaced typeface that was inspired by letters from the old Ukrainian book “Soldiers of My Legion”. Gart Mono has low contrast and unusual imbalanced details in characters.

Visually tall, high-waisted narrow uppercase letters and rounded lowercase proportions create an unusual view in the set. Its unique features make it different from the traditional monospaced Grotesk fonts.

KREIS is a modular typeface with a modern sharp character inspired by the shape of an old-school CD. It consists of three simple modules with the roots in square and circle shapes. Kreis is the German word for circle. KREIS works best in headlines, identities, posters, music album covers, and strong messages if you want to be heard.
