various views on what has happened
Is coexistence possible in the world we used to live in until today? Or maybe should we go further and design a new world, being not so sad of leaving the present one?
For me, to coexist is to build a working relationship. While we live and share the same space and time, to live in peace and take considerations of other’s needs is like being each other’s roommates/crew maters. To treat each other how we want to be treated, to be respectful, to agree to disagree, to have necessary boundaries while still being supportive and caring.
The concept derives from quotes by two of recent history’s most visionary futurists. R. Buckminster Fuller wrote, “We are all astronauts on a little spaceship called Earth.” And Marshall McLuhan wrote, “There are no passengers on spaceship earth, we are all crew.”
Humanity must coexist!
The variety of typeweights as a representation of our difference and similarities. We all play a role that makes our earth, communities and families complete. The circle is a universal symbol that represents the notions of wholeness, original perfection, the Self, the infinite, and eternity.
Peaceful and positive coexistence with each other and with this planet that allows us the possibility of life, is by now our one and only option. We have behaved as if there are no consequences for our actions, that the earth will always heal and keep on giving, this we know to not be true. The principles of coexistence are quite straightforward – respect the planet and all the inhabitants that are lucky enough to share it, nurture and care for each other. Afford all living things the space and environment they require. Easy. The work you say here was made by the team at SPIN studio in a spirit of coexistence.
Coexist is to respect all life forms, their independence and our unity
We are all in the circle, and stakes are high
You’ll find three new Shapes Posters at Slanted Shop. Sabato Uricuoli is a graphic artist from Manchester. Inspired by cycling and modernism his compositions are abided to a strict and structured grid system. He focuses with an emphasis on elementary shapes, as well as a peculiar colors palette and elegant use of negative space. The designs are full of life and plotted, so it appears to be a good example for various design-based products. His visuals will surely help to improve your home or office.

Human beings have created a new digital, artificial world in which they increasingly spend time. Nevertheless, he tries again and again to bring back the natural into this world he has created. We must become aware of this contradiction, the ambivalent relationship between humans and nature. How can we define our relationship to nature? How could we succeed in finding a balance between culture and nature?
Everything around us is in a constant exchange with each other and with us. It is about the connection between the things that make up our daily lives. We have to redefine and redesign our relationship to the world and to others. We have to reinvent the constant dialogue and find a way to find a balance in it.
It has been an incredibly emotional week for me because of the tragedy, which happened in Minneapolis, where I have lived for 6 years.
“What’s going on” from Marvin Gaye. This is the album which I keep coming back to listening to whenever I feel devastated, emotional, and sad… Somehow the songs would calm me down and cheer me up. “War is not the answer… For only love can conquer hate…”
HOPE is there. Some real changes are gonna come!
I urge us humans to take a step back and consider coexistence with all living beings and not focus purely on issues of humanity. Our planets issues go beyond that of humans living and coexisting together. We need to take a closer look at issues that are resulting in the extinction of species and greater harm to our planet as a whole.
MY COUSIN is about the tension between the utopian ideal of coexistence and the real life difficulties in achieving it.
©EXIST is about the implications of capitalism as a way of life, materialistic culture, personal identity as it relates to brands, and our obsession with labels of all kind. The CO of COEXIST becomes a copywrite symbol implying an ownership over our existence.
This artwork was created to shed light on the profound crisis of values that is affecting our societies. We live in a fast-pace environment in which people are overwhelmed with information and things to do. In order to keep the pace, individuals began shaping the world based on their beliefs without questioning their reasoning. People gather together in groups that are glued by similar ideological beliefs and a vague sense of political correctness. This, however, causes tribalism and shapes conflictual behaviors. This artwork is an invite to distance oneself from that frenetic pace and take the time to reflect on our role in society.
We tend to physically spend time next to each other while with our thoughts we are far away. With the right company it can work and even be of advantage. Sometimes a look is enough to find back together and reconnect.
What if all species could vote? What if every species on this planet was given the same rights as any human in a western democracy? Universal Species Suffrage is an exploration of these ideas, questioning our relationship with the planet while also critiquing the systems by which we are governed.
