SAME SAME BUT DIFFERENT
Separate & crossed paths
Coexist —
Our paths separate and cross even when they don’t meet. Nobody is really alone with their problems. Somewhere in the world there are people who experience the same and feel the same. Even though we are different. We have a lot in common. We are connected in our decisions, opinions, ways of thinking, feelings, experiences, mistakes, skills, interests, needs, perceptions, aims, conscience, problems, illness, area, friendships, family, responsibilities …
Cultural Tetris
People are like Tetris bricks. Everybody is different. The game can only be one if all the bricks fit together.

Coexistance = Respecting each other. No dominancy, no discrimination, but equal rights!
JP/US: Up
JP/US is a collaboration with Rok Hudobivnik that explores the idea of verbal interpretation through photography and between two culturally different countries. This series of images present opposing perspectives, whereby each pair is linked by a single word. For this pair of images that word is ‘Up’.
ME>WE
Stop thinking about yourself and your interests, Let’s start thinking about us as humanity. Be altruistic!

complementary coexistence
complementary coexistence shows how different from each other species may look like from the outside. but actually they couldn’t exist without each other despite their distinctions. even if our differences are shown in coexistence, they do not divide us, but rather complement us as different species.
If it’s online it must be true.
In the past three or four months we have noticed a particular phenomenon which was the quick spread of misinformation and fake news about the Corona virus. We have witnessed a lot of false information (some of it dangerous and some of it just absurd and therefore funny) being shared online. These fake news can become a beacon of hate and prejudiced speech (calling the Corona virus the “chinese virus” or administrating all the blame to China and therefore creating a wave of prejudice against asians). With the word “coexist” in mind we wanted to visually explore the importance of building a critic response to the information we consume and share online.

coexistence means cooperation
Coexistence does not only mean living side by side. For us it is much more: working together, supporting each other, learning from each other. And so these designs are not just the expression of one designer. They are a cooperation. Created in a process, in respectful handling of the work of the other creator. A constant development of one’s own ideas through new perspectives. With a result that would not have been achieved by oneself.
Value recognize and appreciate each other!

Burn Your Flag / We Are, They Are
First Things First
“First Things First” is our vision on what coexistence is, start over and learn from past mistakes, in order to improve the society and the people. We got our inspiration from “First Things First Manifesto” published in 1964 by Ken Garland, which was a call for a return to the humanist aspect of design. In our opinion, the vision of the future of the design that is described in the Manifesto blend with our vision of the future of coexistence. We resumed the alphabet developed by Edward Wright to compose the poster, because despite the character is futuristic in a constructivist kind of way, there is, however, something somewhat primitive about it.

Co-existence
Coexistence is a house we are building together
Community
COEXIST
Coexist in itself is a complex theme, while coexisting with others depends on the space each individual is granted, the amount of different individuals around oneself and the distance between them.
There is
There is
Beauty in contrast
Tolerance in co-operation
Edge in softness
And currents beneath the calm
There is unity in diversity
Peaks below the plains
Shadow in the light
And depth beneath the shallow
Colour, texture, shape, size
All come together
All share the space
And co-exist
United lovers
During these days we’re experiencing a big amount of cartographic data visualizations about COVID-19, turning our attention and concern on big red circles representing infected people. As designers, especially on these days, we felt the responsibility to reestablish a proper relation between the meaning of data and its actual representation. We rethought these shapes and colours using love – to other people, passions, activities – as a positive agent to change and heal.
To Coexist
Three different designers in three different locations coexist in one poster. As in the variations in music, each poster changes the starting point: I+L+R, L+R+I, R+I+L.The letters, unique in their shapes, fit, adapt, and respect each other. Furthermore, the posters themselves can exist singularly or coexist. With this game, we’ve tried to grasp a quite complex term in a simple way.
