YIN&YANG
MVP – Most Valuable Pussy
The feminine urge to set boundaries and state facts. „MVP – Most Valuable Pussy“ is the definition of a real Baddie. She mastered the balance between her inner sweet girl and mean bitch. She’s smart and witty, soft and seductive. She clearly has it all because she walks with God.
Bridging Styles: The Urban Contrast
For the cover graphic of ABSATZ magazine, several pieces of graffiti were visually explored to transform the style into a wordmark. The contrast between the free, spontaneous aesthetic of street art and the more formal, sterile-looking graphic design reflects the diversity within this subculture. While the graffiti tag appears inflated, the interplay with the grotesque font of its digital translation gives it a kind of skeleton around which the bubble style can wind itself and gain a foothold.
NOTA
NOTA is a Latin word and has many meanings, such as: brand, letter, label, inscription, mark etc.
This is the brand name of a fictional streetwear brand for which Salome Frenzel created a logo design using a self-made bubble type. The logo is depicted on a shopping bag, which is not only intended to contribute to sustainable shopping, but also fits a laptop, water bottle etc. and is therefore perfect as a daily accessory.
Lost in Translation
„Lost in Translation“ is trying to capture the feeling of being stuck between worlds for Danish-Chinese luxury fashion label A.A. Spectrum.
Applied across the whole collection, woven labels juxtapose Chinglish and Chinese pidgin with stereotypical symbols of the West and the East in a tongue-in-cheek approach.
Inspired by vintage labels found in clothes, food packaging or other things that catch a wandering traveler’s attention, the labels emulate the visual world of a jet-lagged fever dream.
PEACE – FOUND OBJECTS in reminiscence of Gerald Holtom 1958
1958 – Gerald Holtom’s peace symbol was a stylized combination of the letters “N” and “D” (as initials for Nuclear Disarmament) from the international waving alphabet, which is used especially in seafaring. This design takes the original symbol and playfully arranges it as a cultural and historical collection of textiles. Robert Johnson is a renowned club for electronic dance music and picks up on this message of the PEACE sign. The message is still relevant!

VALUE
VALUE is a collection of leather bags and upcycled shirts, combining conscious design with AI-aided visual exploration and traditional craftsmanship. To ensure resource-saving manufacture, discarded leather furniture and secondhand textiles are used.
Written “warning labels” accompany each bag, giving instructions on how to interact with and experience them – opening a space inbetween usable object and abstract sculpture aiming to question the value perception of everyday objects.
Romeo and Juliet
Romeo and Juliet, jacquard cotton shawl, made for decorative textile company Most by Kuba Sowiński, acclaimed Polish designer.
Romeo and Juliet, the immortal story, written in Matrix font, transformed to the woven jacquard fabric.
Is love beyond grave? We don’t know, but sense of humour definitely is.
Reimagined Roadway Runway
Countless photos of everyday fragments of billboards and street signs have been lying dormant on Colin Jäck and Leon Stelzner’s hard drives, which they spontaneously collected for several months . Their studio “DUO KONSTRUKT” set itself the task of archiving these typographic fragments and evaluating them with a creative eye. This resulted in the first graphic for their screen printing on t-Shirts and tote bags: A creative recycling process of collaged everyday graphics in a new context.

Affirmations
We have often been annoyed with ourselves. However, we rarely speak positively to ourselves or find inner peace. Affirmations are designed to change that. This project explores the use of tree affirmations in an experimental manner. The principle of repetition was applied within an animation and its boundaries were examined. Individual still frames from the animations were then further processed. The outcome includes three knitted blankets measuring 185x150cm.

Matter & Meaning — A Research On Text And Textile Towards Alternative Fashion Perspectives.
The publication Matter & Meaning explores the relationships between the textual and the textile. It consists of an accumulation of 50 texts from art and design research and conceptual design approaches that address the urgency of a new fashion system. The texts of the book form the pattern for four self-made garments — A top, sleeves, trousers and skirt. The book is thus brought into the space performatively and ultimately led into the book.

The use of bleach on fabric reflects the idea of the self-foundation of a thing as a canvas, without introducing anything new, without gluing, painting or cutting.
Thus, metaphorically “removing stains”, the essence of the thing is etched out.
S—3XL
In the project ‘S—3XL’, what is hidden becomes visible. Here, sizes are not just functional labels but become integral components of the design, meticulously imprinted onto the fabric using the platform’s internal editor. This approach blurs the lines between utility and design, challenging the conventional boundaries of fashion and self-expression. By reframing the familiar, this project invites us to explore the intersections of form and function.

PARA PARA
Ethel Vaughn and Miruel worked together to create a collection called “PARA PARA”. The name is an extract of the painkiller “PARACETAMOL”. The idea behind the collection was that, just like the painkillers, they should relieve the pain of the people wearing the clothes.
Bite
Modular font made of stapler staples.
Stapler staples on fabric express the idea of not comfort for the sake of fashion, some kind of sacrifice made in the name of.
Moreover, they’re the epitome of fashion biting into the skin, the dichotomy of rebellion and conformity.

mdnss
“mdnss” is all about giving new life to old clothes, hiding in the back of the closet that seem too boring for daily usage. Inspired by the chaos of modern life and overstimulating expectations, mdnss slows down the fashion world by handmade screen printing, creating unique patterns and special pieces. The slow process hopes to bring a bit of calm to our fast-paced society and revive the appreciation for single pieces, while protesting the madness of the world.
Made in Bangladesh
‘Made in Bangladesh’ emerges as a pivotal installment within the ongoing series titled ‘Made in’, a conceptual exploration that boldly brings the ostensibly concealed fine print into prominence on a grand scale. ‘Made in Bangladesh’ challenges the viewer to confront the ubiquitous but often overlooked labeling found on consumer goods and foregrounds the production facility.
