“Ture Téhéran” celebrated the anniversary of the Argo factory’s establishment in 1930. The factory, which is now a contemporary arts museum, used to be the oldest brewery in old Tehran. The event featured fashion, exhibitions, live music, talks, drinks, and a party.

CyanoTYPE Scarves
A series of 10 cyanotype scarves were designed, produced and tailored by hand with fully analogue methods. On the fabric itself, you can see the shadows of written letters, addressed to a person called Esther. Some letters are readable, other parts are more abstract and reduced to a purely typographical interpretation. Each of the 10 scarves has its own part of Esther’s story. Cyanotype is a chemical process and early form of photography in which UV light transferred negatives to the textiles.
I will be here for…
The aim of this project is to show how long our clothes actually stay on the earth. Which material takes the longest to decompose? Will your sweater outlive you? Or will it disappear after just a few weeks? Show it through your label! Simply enter the necessary information in the label and make a statement.
Positive Perspective
A T-shirt collection where positivity meets minimalistic style with a twist. The thoughtful lyrics are printed upside down, so people can read it while wearing. Each shirt harbors a hidden message in it’s sleeve, urging wearers to take risks or embrace bravery. The clean design contrasts with the emotional impact of the words, and vibrant colors accentuate the uplifting lyrics. A positive and optimistic message for the wearer only, without being too obvious for surrounding people.
Wearable Font
This piece pays homage to the timeless Times New Roman font, exploring the essence of clothing in a playful manner. Each person is encouraged to unleash their creativity in styling this ‘A’. Whether paired with a classic blouse for a sophisticated look or dressed down to add a touch of excitement to everyday wear, the possibilities are endless. Why settle for printing messages on fabric when you can wear them? The ‘A’ represents the beginning of the alphabet, universally understood, symbolizing
Yves Sweater Collection
Yves Sweater Collection was born from the idea that typefaces should not only be used on paper, but that everyone should be able to wear their own favorite letter on their body. The used typeface Yves is a geometric sans serif font that is characterized by its striped elements. Stripes also serve as a stylistic element for the packaging design and web presence. Choose your favorite letter!
LAZY
The LAZY project explores the interplay between content, design and type design with that font selection. It is about how design decisions can contrast with content. The sharp yet dynamic lines contrast with the meaning of the word, making LAZY a decorative element. Transferring the letters to fashion adds an extra dimension and makes the font dynamic on a three-dimensional object. The visual tension between word and design stimulates conversation and transforms the hoodie into wearable art.
The Story of The Mice and Cat
Studio Melli collaborated with a local brand in Tehran to create a unique design based on old Iranian stories. The design is inspired by the tale of Obed Zakani’s cat and mice, which is an allegory of human life situations. The objective was to create an imaginative and controversial atmosphere of conflict between the cat and mouse, using Persian and Arabic letters and elements that evoke the state of war. It was published as a series of limited edition one-color silk screen prints on t-shirts.
Yves Summer Shirt
The collection “Yves Summer Shirt” consists of 26 T-Shirts with all letters of the alphabet in three colour variations. It was born from the idea that typefaces should not only be used on paper, but that everyone should be able to wear their favorite letter. The used typeface Yves is a geometric sans serif font that is characterized by its striped elements. Stripes also serve as a stylistic element for the packaging design. The color combinations make us dream of strawberry ice cream &limoncello
Dark decadence
In this typography-focused crochet project, I’ve interpreted the bold curves and sharp edges of gothic calligraphy into the fabric of a scarf. The phrase emerges with striking clarity, each letter meticulously designed and crocheted to maintain its distinctive shape. Through the craft of yarn and hook, the essence of the typography is captured, creating a wearable piece of art that demands attention and invites exploration of its intricate details.
Test Prints
“Test Print” consists of five self-taught screen-printing friends, which carries out mandates for the art and design worlds as well as self-initiated projects. The mix between comissions & made-up visuals blurs the boundaries between these fields, changing the status of the so-called test prints (the tests on prototype fabrics before the final prints), bringing them to the forefront and happily adding extra layers to them in order to achieve charged compositions bordering on abstraction.
Feel Fashion
Who tells us what fashion is? Who decides when you are fashionable? Isn’t it more about feeling and radiating fashion? Isn’t it more about the attitude than the clothes themselves?
It’s certainly fun to let off steam in the fashion world and create looks that have a common thread. But isn’t it more about feeling good in your own fashion? Feeling good inside and showing what you want to show. Fashion can get under your skin, merge with you and embody you. You decide how you feel in fashion.

A kerchief is not only a fashion accessory, but also a vessel for deeper meaning. We think of our relationship to the city as a correspondence; and these scarves are a love letters for her.

Roar In Paradise
A fashion project has been created focusing on extinct animal species from the past year. This hoodie, for example, serves as a memento to the Guam Flying Fox. Red crosses symbolize the Red List of endangered animal species, while irony and black humor emphasize conservation urgency, like the phrase “Available after 2024.” “RIP” now signifies animals continuing to roar in heaven – or paradise. Although fictional, this project could raise awareness and support conservation if realized.
55555 on silk
55555 is not a typeface, but a structuring machine!
This open modular system uses the unicode classification order to turn a simple font file into a controlling tool for all visual applications.
based on a simple 5×5 grid, providing more than 400 glyphs for latin and cyrillic script + numerous graphical elements, wildly combinable in an almost infinite manner.

user manual
This tag embodies the interplay between destruction and construction, presenting a fresh concept for those in need of inspiration. Conceptually, the work appropriates elements with a strong recognizable aspect and translates them into a new context. By using a familiar guiding system as a tool for communication, this manual gains a strongly accessible character, motivating a straightforward approach to creativity. The headpiece works as an example for translating this idea into reality.
fast fashion kills
This project questions the traditional narrative that places blame on consumers for the harmful impacts of fast fashion, rather than holding accountable the corporations and regulatory agencies responsible. The fashion industry has become synonymous with overconsumption and waste, yet the burden of responsibility is too often placed on the individual consumer rather than the companies producing these harmful products.
