Value of Life
this illustration is one of 12 works from the 2023 calendar about everyday life during the war. This illustration depicts a person who has lost the sense of value of her life because of the war. But every life is a precious gift and no one has the right to take it away. The quote that can be seen on the halo means “force without wisdom collapses from its own mass” – a sign that all evil will be punished, the one who is now killing my people is already destroying himself.
Visual research
There is no need to look for new ideas, just need to look around.
Sex, but how?
“Sex, but how?” is a publication that highlights the topic of sexual diversity from twelve different perspectives as part of sexual education. It tells the stories of drastically different, extraordinary people, that are not afraid of speaking openly and loudly about sexual diversity, and willing to share their personal experiences. Every topic, which was mentioned in the publication, is illustrated by Olena Zhuravytska.

Wind Between Walls
Wind Between Walls, a sculpture inspired by the myth of Laocoön and his sons, is located in Odessa in front of the building of the Odessa Archaeological Museum. Laocoon threw a spear at the Trojan horse. Apollo sent two snakes that swam across the sea and swallowed Laocoon’s sons, Antiphantus and Fimbreus. He himself remained alive to mourn his fate forever.
A myth forms a syncretism, a combination of polar mythological and religious worlds where a concentration of meanings accumulates.
Pocket things in focus
An attempt to evoke the tactile feeling of familiar things, one might find in their pockets, into the 3D imagery.
“Kherson”, “Dedicated to my homeland”
3D Lettering Study
“Її” is the Ukrainian word for “her”. The project is a study of the boundary between the recognizable letters of the native language and the formation of a pattern.
Hole
I don’t want to be tolerant of russians. During their entire existence, they could not take a step towards democracy. And they took a step towards war.

Branding sychological support center for military personnel “Dodomu””
“Dodomu” is a psychological support center for military personnel, assisting them in the rehabilitation process after participating in combat actions.
The main focus of the identity is a custom variable font that metaphorically represents the process of psychological rehabilitation: from sharp distorted letters to their regular forms; from stress and anxiety to calmness and tranquility.
Dovbush
Author’s poster for Oles Sanin’s film “Dovbush”
NO TO WAR!
In the first months of the invasion, a gigantic 3x4m poster was displayed on the tallest tower in Freiburg, Germany, garnering attention and symbolizing European support.
Branding for the Memorial Museum of Totalitarian Regimes “Territory of Terror”
The branding is based on the black patterns in all visuals.
It symbolizes the totalitarian regimes that occupied Ukrainian lands, particularly the city of Lviv, bringing fear, repression, murders, and more. The branding aims to evoke a sense of unease and hopelessness by limiting white space with a black pattern.
Reflection
Now Ukraine is the reflection in your eyes
Ukraine means courage
What does it mean when your friends take weapons to defend you and their loved ones? What does it mean to move step by step through all this hell with a desire to save and protect your freedom?
Boycott
Boycott russian sports!
Donor
One donor has the potential to save several lives. Today, during the full Russian invasion of Ukraine, it’s a matter of life and death. So I decided to remind people again about the importance of being a donor.
Whispers of the Forest: Tale About Mavkas
How much do you know about the magical creatures of Ukrainian myth? Illustrations from ‘Whispers of the Forest: Tale About Mavkas’ showcase a collection of works depicting different types of mavkas. The unique drawing style and deep colors best demonstrate the majesty and mystery of these forest dwellers.
Push harder!
As a passionate cyclist, Romana often depicts moments of riding a bike. This work is an attempt to come back to toddler years when everything seemed so big, colorful, and fun. When each next kilometer opened something new, and the only wish was to stay outside for longer to impress everyone around with your speed.
About war
On February 24, a full-scale war began in Ukraine, transforming this traumatic experience into posters to raise awareness and present the Ukrainian School of Design in a new way. The original poster size was 100×70 cm, and the author used an old dormitory scanner to create high-quality images. The poster series reflects an experiment using various materials, including clay, paint, and faces.
The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse
This illustration was made during the pandemic year as a skeptical question: What’s next? The illustrator invited apocalyptic characters to a video call and couldn’t expect this illustration to be not that ironic later.
