Across three stages, speakers will provide multi-disciplinary inspiration as well as insights into their creative process, while talking about the hottest topics in the industry like AI in art & creation, other future trends, but also the importance of maintaining a hands-on approach.

Summer camp with the hottest topics of the creative scene
Berlin in summer is always worth a visit—especially this year, given the fact that Forward Festival returns for a summer edition at HKW Berlin. Addressing the hottest topics of the creative bubble, the lineup ranges from industry heavyweights to local heroes and from talks and Q&A’s to workshops and exhibitions. The Festival offers a platform for artists, designers, and thinkers to gain new insights and connect with like-minded individuals. Whether you’re into graphic design and AI or captivated by the world of film and photography, this vibrant celebration of creativity has something for everyone. On three stages, speakers will provide insights into their creative process as well as multi-disciplinary inspiration, while talking about the hottest topics in the industry like AI in art & creation, other future trends, and the importance of keeping it hands-on.

AI and new technologies as important controversial factors
Notably, the role of AI for the creative industry and especially for designers of all fields will be a main topic of the festival’s talks. Renowned creatives like Berlin based Taiwanese CGI Artist Ariel Lu will captivate the audience by pointing out the strength of vulnerability in her work by using Houdini as the main tool. Pioneering graphic designer Shane Griffin, founder of GRIFStudio, will discuss how to sculpt design through innovation across various creative areas such as graphic and interior design. Driven by the progress and inspired by what’s up and coming, London creative studio Future Deluxe delves into the creative studio’s work which combines design, technology and moving image to craft aspirational visual experiences. The integration of cutting-edge technology into the realm of creativity is anticipated to stand out as a highlight amidst the numerous offerings of the festival’s diverse program.
