Thousands of Ukrainian girls and women are military, medical, and volunteers. This is real Strength.
Avior
They were tasked with creating a corporate website that would serve as the primary financial service for the company’s clients.
One notable feature was the real-time calculation of loan costs and annual interest rates following NBU standards.
This efficient product streamlined interactions with existing and potential customers and automated various business processes. Integrations, both internal and external, enabled real-time data processing, facilitating quick decisions and risk management.
Sensitive content
From the beginning of the war, “meta” company is trying to avoid posts about the war, ecpecially with violence content (dead bodies, etc.).
For Ukrainians it’s like hiding from reality, when you don’t wanna to see what is going on in the other side of your planet. So, the poster is basically rasing the problem about avoiding news about Ukraine and just pass by.
From Maggy to Maggie’s
In a bold leap towards innovative typographic design, The Northern Block proudly presents Maggy, an eclectic and energetic typeface encouraging creatives to type for a cause. This boundary-pushing creation by type designer Tasos Varipatis not only challenges conventional typographic norms but also serves as a powerful tool for a charitable cause.
Tasos explains: “During Maggy’s conceptualisation, I considered this typeface as a canvas, where letters move between different styles and forms, yet come together in a beautiful dance.”
Type For A Cause
Maggy is a versatile display typeface sparked by the foundry’s participation in the annual 36 Days of Type challenge. However, it’s not just a font; it’s a symbol of creativity for a cause. The Northern Block is encouraging creatives to get behind the campaign and has committed to donating all proceeds from the sale of the typeface to Maggie’s Cancer Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne.
The charitable idea was born from the experiences of the foundry’s Head of Brand, Donna Wearmouth, who shares, “As someone who has experienced first-hand the welcoming environment of Maggie’s, I recognize how crucial breakout spaces are for families dealing with cancer—using our creative skills to support Maggie’s is a real honor.”
What started as an exciting 36-day challenge has flourished into a remarkable typeface designed with purpose. Maggy has been designed to serve a greater good, and we hope the power of typography can help support Maggie’s, one letter at a time.

Air alarm in Lviv
In summer I like to sleep with open windows, but due to war, we have air alarms from time to time. Usually in happens at night, so, you basically hearing these strong sound through the dreams. 19.09 we had drones attack and obviously air alarm, but the shape in the middle which symbolize the horn a bit broken, because it’s getting more usual and it’s a bit scary for us.
Blossom of war
Recently I was thinking about the scale of the war that unfortunately is getting bigger and bigger. For Ukrainians, this full-scale invasion started in Feb 2022, before the spring, but instead usual blossom, we got a blossom of war, which is spreading across the world. This poster was made on the day when Palestina started invasion in Israel. Peace.
Shelter Typeface Poster
Shelter is a contemporary super-closed serif typeface inspired by russia’s horrific and terrifying invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. The extremely closed forms refer to the need for a safe place and give the typeface a notable distinctive character. Even so, the typeface was crafted as modern and versatile to become a highlight of any design.
Trying to do something right
This illustration is a fragment of a graphic novel that is currently still in the creation stage. In this image, the author shows how a person who has the power to influence reality and control time, on the way to his dream, still makes mistakes every time and starts from scratch. Literally. It simply boils down to the fact that, relying on his abilities, the character simply forgot how to make decisions on his own, knowing that in case of failure, everything can be started again.

Experimental Tryzub
The Ukrainian coat of arms, Tryzub, has a thousand-year history and numerous variations that have absorbed a lot of meanings. This is a graphical experiment to step outside the historical boundaries and reimagine the symbol in an ornamental way.
My Sweet Kyiv
This story is about the Kyiv cake, one of the city’s symbols. And if you cut it to 16 pieces you can compose the name of the city Kyiv (Київ) out of them. The illustration keeps original design of Kyiv cake that became iconic throughout the years.
When the t-shirt is a piece of cake, its size is measured in kilocalories and it is packaged in an original cake box. The expiration date on the lid says it is timeless and good forever.
Happy student of Kyiv University
I made this digital drawing of a happy student who passed his exam. One of the goals of this project was to depict views of the city of Kyiv.
