Emote. Brand Identity & Illustrations

Emote is a web application for tracking the mental state of employees. This will help to notice if the person feels depressed or harassed, so it’ll possible to help them feel better. Studio’s main goal in this project was to create a safe space, where everyone can freely express their feelings, without any fear of being shamed. It is a great responsibility – to make people feel comfortable about sharing their emotions and experiences.

075. ЛЮТЬ/FURY.

Feelings that overwhelm all Ukrainians these days. We are not going to forget anything. There will be responsibility for everything. The defeat of terror is necessary. I didn’t want this poster to turn so emotional to me but this is the time we live in. The background is a photo I took, think it matches well here.

Slanted in Amsterdam: De Designpolitie

Setting out on an exciting adventure through Amsterdam’s vibrant design scene, we dived into the heart of the Dutch capital to uncover its artistic facets for our 41st magazine edition. We met with Richard van der Laken and Pepijn Zurburg from De Designpolitie for a deep conversation about their politically influenced approach to design and about how designers can drive meaningful change through their work.

De Designpolitie is an Amsterdam-based creative agency focusing on the design and strategy of visual communication. Next to commissioned work for clients, De Designpolitie also initiates and produces design projects and events. They combine simplicity, boldness and wit with some critical analysis and fresh thinking. The final result is always a striking piece with a clear communicative message.

More about De Designpolitie can be found in the Slanted Magazine #41—Amsterdam. Additionally we shot a video interview withRichard van der Laken and Pepijn Zurburg, talking about their point of view on art and opinions about the future. Take a look at the Amsterdam issue and the video platform for diverse opinions, impressions, inspiration, and motivation.

Poetry and Performance

The visual identity for the exhibition ‘Poetry & Performance’ is based on the rhythms of lines which could be interpreted as the text lines. Using the graphic method to overlay two words Перформанс and Performance in a performative way gives a hint of an
approach in the visual poetry.

VUFKU.Lost&Found

The design for the book on the history of VUFKU (All-Ukrainian Photo Cinema Management) is one of the most successful modernization projects of Ukrainian culture to this day. The book aims not only to present this forgotten phenomenon but also to try different ways of dealing with the lost and finding it.

Traces

This linocut letter ornament offers a multi-layered experience of perceiving and deriving meaning from letters. They aren’t just tools of communication but also independent graphic elements. This transformation enables a dual sensation: recognizing familiar letters and uncovering new meanings within the ornament.
The Ukrainian alphabet’s unique letters unfold this poster’s meaning by resembling tank tracks, referring to self-identification, the need for language preservation during wartime.

For self-development!

The idea of the poster “For self-development!” is that a person should develop himself, his brain and achieve results in achievements, as if climbing to the very top. When overcoming a path, a person needs 5 important elements, in this case they are: a cup, a heart, a watch, money, a weight. The cup is the final result of achievements, the heart means human tension and effort, the clock shows the time spent, money is an investment in education, the kettlebell carries willpower.

I CAN 03

“I Can” is a poster based on the Christian parable “The Magic Staff”, which tells the story of how a helpless man who had never been able to walk trusted an old man to stand on his feet thanks to a magic staff. In the end, it turned out that it was an ordinary stick, and this person had to believe in his own strength and achieve his dream. You can!
