I was born, grew up and lived through russian environment in Mariupol. All photos used in zine were taken by me in my hometown.

“Svitlychny” poster
Ivan Svitlychny (1902-1933) was a Ukrainian poet and journalist. He was famous for his profound literary legacy and wrote poems. He actively supported Ukrainian culture during the Soviet regime and became a symbol of resistance. He died in the gulag because of his commitment to an independent Ukraine and criticism of authoritarianism.
