My current drawing project “Z!?” deals with the present condition of cultured forests in northern Germany influenced by increasing carbon pollution. Many perceive these artificially grown forests as the norm and few places remain wild. Since it is harder to connect with cultured forests, humans’ connection with German forests decreases. While looking at nature, the forest is viewed solely as a natural resource to be harvested as a commodity.
As an artist, my work revolves around this ambivalent relationship and the alienation process between humans and nature. Through my drawings, I address existing problems in terms of natural politics and build moments of connection.

Current colourmind
During one of the lockdowns I created these colour gradients. They remind me of the surface of a balloon or similar structure, flexible but fragile, and here on the edge of bursting through a delicate spike. A tense situation, not unlike the current global circumstances, affecting my perception and mind, and what I end up creating.

The form itself seems to suck everything into it but when light comes into play the form disperses the colours of the spectrum almost like an explosion.
Spotlight
With all these magnificent and beautiful colors this world has to offer, it is important to sometimes take a step back and embrace the more specific. Six colors can be enough to deliver the message of diversity, pride and freedom.
Imagine
This poster advocates for funding of the arts. The quote, logic will get you from a to b, imagination will take you everywhere, is featured. The yellow line draws inspiration from the quote and the yellow color is a reference to the yellow brick road that leads to possibilities.
Run
I’m always interested how a graphic designer can act as a mirror for reality. I must admit, I might be one of these crazy mirrors found at a carnival.

Diversity
The spectrum of visible colors in maximum saturation give the best opportunity to experience the quality of the color-as-it-is. using a geometric approach and slightly adjusting brightness, each work uses colored squares to experiment on different visual effects. The main scope of this series of prints is a playful and abstract approach on the topics of diversity and integration.
Empty but happy
In the absence of colour this happy vase finds its fulfillment. She enjoys the colourful life around her by fully embracing her own emptiness. Because she knows that where there‘s a void, there is potential for change — for life to happen.

Every year I say “thank you” to my customers and businesspartners with a personal greeting card. Don’t we all love being in awe? This work attemps a symbolic representation of being in awe. You might see a rainbow, a portal, a warp tunnel frozen in time. Whatever brings you closer to the miracle is fine.

Every year I say “thank you” to my customers and businesspartners with a personal greeting card. Most time I take the chance and try something new – in this case the special challenge was: foil on embossed premium-paper.
Some other hard facts of the project: Individualized and personalized greeting card in 18 colour-variations, refined with sleeking-foil on the embossed paperside, printed digitally with a dry toner system.

PosterLad
PosterLad is an art project by Czech designer Vratislav Pecka. He believes that a poster does not have to always necessarily promote some event or product. Instead, Pecka uses the medium as a space for expressing his art ideas. The main common features of Vratislav Pecka’s work are simple shapes and vivid colors. His work was influenced by the Bauhaus school and a certain nostalgia and memories of the 90s. Posterlad posters do not aim to express any thoughts or to deliver a message. The main goal of these posters is to visually captivate and please the observer’s eye.
