¿Person Of Color? If I could choose my skin tone,  I’d rather be color rainbow…
Maybe very idealistic, but for me it makes no sense that most of the world wide population has to be defined into five words (BIPOC) to be visible and taken into account.
Once I read a statement I can not agree more with, “Being viewed as an individual is a privilege only available to the dominant group.”

I’m completely proud of my cultural, racial, ethnical and historical herritage.  So i’ve decided that until racism ends i’ll rather say my skin tone is color rainbow.
Yes rainbow: Black, indigenous, arabic, white and many more colours that are flowing through my veins and radiating onto my skin!!

My colour piece was inspired by how I work as a designer and how I collate my ideas/concepts when starting a project. The gradient grid of colours represents my mix and contrast of ideas, showing that by cherry picking all my key ideas, I can create my perfected project concept. Basically a gradient grid of my brain when mid brain storming ideas and concepts.

What I have comprised here are 4 different aspects of how in depth I can go depending on the necessary Element of Creativity and Imagination. All of the following pieces were gathered from numerous website resources to come together to make what you see here. I do not start with a Plan or outline on how I create, I just let everything Flow Naturally.

“Fridge” is an ongoing series of stilllifes which are composed of food that people already have at home. It is a visual playground for experimenting with colors, textures and associations while linking the depicted food items to their respective owners.

Beyond nature.

Design of a series of compilations released on vinyl by The Very Polish Cut-Outs imprint, volumes 1–6.

The idea behind The Very Polish Cut-Outs is to promote and bring a little spotlight onto quality 70’s and 80’s Polish music through releasing singles, mixes and compilations. Once high in charts, now a little forgotten pop songs are put in a new context by editing and making them dancefloor friendly.

The aim of the design was to create artwork that would work as a series and be instantly recognizable. Aesthetically the covers strive to resemble the spirit of Polish design of the era but with a modern twist.

‘My Mother Tongue Is’ is a campaign for inspiring multilingual speakers to celebrate their mother tongues to promote linguistic diversity. This is a linguistic map for the campaign, it based on the geographic distribution of Asian and Eurasian languages in their original script; with the colours from national flags as additional references to cultural heritage.

beyond nature.

I’ve been experimenting with fermenting different products for some time and of course decided that they need labels. So I created this brand “Bartosz (that’s my name) Ferments” and a system of labels. They are all home made just as the products inside.

My characters live in disturbingly happy anthropomorphic world, where inanimate objects have souls and everybody dance and sing while the sun is shining. Happy happy joy joy!

after the last year that I spent almost entirely in Milan I feel a great nostalgia for nature. I was reminded of the trips we took to the mountains when I was little. The grass under your feet, the fresh air, the animals (all very poetic) and the inconveniences such as nettle (or urtica) when you accidentally end up in the middle of it.
I found it funny that years ago I considered te nettle a nuisance, a useless thing that could only annoy you if it stung you, but today I think: how annoying are we human beings for nature?

Water makes up about 71% of the Earth’s surface, while the other 29% consists of continents and islands.

In the summer of 2019, I visited my family in Pakistan for the very first time and it was my dad’s return after 26 years. This poster series uses geometric shapes inspired by the beautifully constructed Grand Jamia Mosque that I visited, and the colors portray the main emotions I felt throughout my visit. Purple represents devotion and mystery, orange represents pure bliss, fun, and fascination, and red exemplifies passion and love.

The illustration is based on personal experience living next to the sea and not being able to go to the sea for different reasons such as a strict lockdown in Portugal or barriers I created in my head.
Walls, barriers, obstacles and fences are elements that have appeared recently in my work connected with personal and political barriers.

Close your eyes and turn on your mind.
We are bombarded with information and images every day at all times. Sometimes it is helpful to “turn off” our eyes and turn on our minds and wander .

When I think pink, I think of soft dreamy clouds, the euphoria of love, raw flesh, cotton candy and chewing gum from my childhood, all mixed together in a sweet sparkling haze. Pink is both innocent and sensual, light as air yet juicy, and always carries the playfulness of a child’s mind.

Freiluftkino Frankfurt has been taking place every summer at different locations since 2014. The corporate design refers to ancient cinema neon signs and changed its key visual every year, matching the different locations. Film stills are an important part of the design, which announce the new season as teasers. The color scheme for the 2017 season conveys summery lightness and anticipation of cinema under the open sky.

Playing with vertical and horizontal scales, the work applies the RGB stripes to communicate the phrase “the spontaneous order”. The glitch result forms a visual maze/landscape which invites readers to “walk” into the details and decode the message.

53 color combinations to brighten up the upcoming weeks. You can use this book the way you want — Calendar, Diary, To Do List, Postcard, Grocery List, Wall Decoration. The weekly planner consists of 55 Cards, printed on 300 g/m2 Munken Polar Paper with a bright orange binding. One side is printed with a seasonal color combination, the other side is for your personal notes.
