The clay typography conveys the idea that in the world of materials and sustainability, there are both gentle and challenging aspects. It encourages viewers to look beyond the surface and recognize the complex characteristics of materials. By combining clay with a wool-like texture, an intriguing tension is created that reinforces the message that not everything that looks soft is soft.

Using the font Steam of Type Forward type foundry an experimental card deck was created.

The designer created what looks like a eye test presenting his self-created modular font inspired by baroque ornaments. He used the concept of the eye test to show of and a text body with a text about the baroque era.

When we dance, I hear words that swim in silence. I find true meanings and we make something new, something that doesn’t yet exist. This work was created with Oddval Text font of Type Forward type foundry.

I chose a cotton-based font because cotton is a natural, biodegradable material that embodies the principles of sustainability and eco-friendliness. Using a cotton-inspired typeface visually reinforces the message of reusability and softness, making it relatable and inviting. This choice symbolizes the importance of choosing materials that minimize environmental impact.

Buchstabenlabor 1.0 is a typeface that was created in a workshop with elementary school kids in Hamburg, Germany. The Children explored different letterforms, materials and methods. The result is a playful and expressive typeface that embodies the creativity and playfulness of collaborative work.

This artwork is dedicated to resisting the structure, illustrating it as a rotten fruit designed to torture and punish dissenters. It represents the desire to break free and become more than what the structure dictates.

Inspired by the song performance “Echo Sax End” by jazz musician Caleb Arredondo.

»Graphis Scripta« is a variable display typeface that abstractly traces the symbiotic nature of lichen. It has its roots in gravestone inscriptions from different epochs and grows along two axes into ornamental allegories of ecologigal grief. Printed with bioluminescent ink made from lichen pigment, the typeface comes to life on paper and offers a playful approach to the complex process of mourning over dying landscapes and changing ecosystems.

This is a fun branding project for SavageDesign, a digital studio run by a friend of the designer. It involves experimenting with a blend of physical and digital media, combining mixed analog techniques with 3D rendering in postproduction.

The poster is dedicated to Memphis design group. On the background of the poster, you can see the letters of the Latin alphabet, assembled from various elements that characterize the design of the Memphis group. Initially, the poster was in color: the palette matched the popular colors used by designers.

pen and paper: strange, modular, contrast, dull, curved, or symmetrical. all the letters were just quick and expressive sketches (nothing more, nothing less, a bit random); becoming the annoying vectors on the display. trying to find something interesting over there. working on bringing it to life.

A series of experiments using neural networks (AI) to search for non-obvious and corroded letterforms. More than four thousand letterform images were created. Selected samples were used to create a set of fonts in OTF format.

The work for “Un Peu Noir” techno event features lettering and logo design. The hand-painted lettering compositions undergo a series of experimental processes, transforming from 2D to 3D to achieve an unpredictable, semi-analog, semi-digital textured look. This approach captures the event’s edgy and immersive atmosphere. *Seems like a GIF didn’t work, so resubmitting once more – hope it works now!

A daring exploration of letter forms — akin to adult games outside the conventional. It evokes a tantalizing sensation oscillating between the freedom of self-expression and the fear of scrutiny. Is it still permissible?
