At the forefront, a woman, representing the soul of Ukraine, stretches her arms skyward, releasing a ribbon in the national colors of blue and yellow. Circling the woman are storks, birds revered in Ukrainian folklore for bringing happiness and heralding the arrival of spring. Here, they symbolize the resilience of the nation, reminding us of Ukraine’s ability to renew itself despite adversities.

This is the brand identity and packaging for a tiny family business in Ukraine – ‘The House of Happiness’ eco-house. The packaging for “The House of Happiness” products – homemade preserves (jam, dried fruits/tea and cider) was a part of the brand identity. The brand itself is an attempt to preserve a piece of happiness, summer and caring about your loved ones. That is the reason why the naive style of illustration and typography was chosen.

Sometimes freedom isn’t something that is given for granted. Sometimes it’s something that has to be fought for. Sometimes you don’t choose this fight, but the fight chooses you. And only after you let go of (or cut off) everything that’s been holding you down – you can finally set yourself free.

This work is about Ukraine in the first place. But the author dedicates it to everyone who is fighting for their freedom – no matter how big or small the scale of the fight is.

Against a vivid blue sky, a resolute soldier stands emblematic of all those who rise to defend Ukraine. The white doves encircling him symbolize the nation’s yearning for peace, even as the dark missiles hint at the ever-present challenges and the adversities brought by the evil. Within the soldier’s nurturing embrace, a glowing orb reveals a girl letting free a dove, epitomizing the hope and spirit of a nation under siege yet undeterred.

Mariia uses her art as a form of visual diary – each painting is a fossilized imprint of a given stage in her life as an artist, a lover, an immigrant, and simply a starry-eyed young girl looking for her place in the sun.

Stylistic kinship with Art Deco is appropriate for the presentation of cultural heritage both purely Ukrainian and European, British and both American, and thanks to the developed diacritics it can be expressed in many languages.

Heraldics for Mars, with its biggest volcano in the world and the god of war with a spear, whose name the planet bears

The main task in developing the identity was to showcase the tourism diversity of the region while preserving its historical heritage. Minimalism was chosen as the foundation, which is reflected in the region’s architecture and atmosphere.

The logo combines several symbols – a 6-ray star, Tripillia culture symbol, mill, and an asterisk (footnote). The symbols represent clarification, explanation, disclosure, and clarity of understanding in works.
