Cairo is loud, layered, and full of contrast—a city that never stands still. With Slanted Magazine #46—Cairo, the Slanted team set out to capture this restless energy, exploring how design, art, and culture reflect a metropolis in constant motion.

During their trip, they met with designers, artists, curators, and creative thinkers who are shaping Cairo’s visual identity today. These encounters—often spontaneous, always inspiring—revealed a design scene that is bold, diverse, and deeply connected to its social and cultural context.

All these voices are brought together in a short documentary film, edited by the Cairo-based design studio Ntsal, presented alongside Slanted Magazine #46—Cairo. Ntsal’s sensitive and dynamic editing highlights the rhythm of the city and the authenticity of its creatives, offering a rare and intimate glimpse into Cairo’s evolving design landscape.
